This short film follows Arthur, a fashion designer with a flair for imaginary friends, who bonds deeply with the forest and finds beauty in its dingiest corners. His eerie realizations in the gloomy foliage inspire his latest creation. The project brings his imaginative world to life using a mix of 2D puppetry, Litho Printing, Stop Motion, and Digital 2D Animation.
The boy, based on Arthur's childhood self, wears Arthur's gothic-inspired creations, perfectly blending with the dark mystery of the night. Muted, dark colors represent the dense forest, while a lighter palette makes the characters look fantastical.
